Upper GI symptoms
Reflux, swallowing difficulty, nausea, indigestion and upper abdominal symptoms.
Lower bowel symptoms
Rectal bleeding, a change in bowel habit or persistent lower GI concerns.
Unexplained findings
Anaemia, iron deficiency or unexplained weight loss that needs investigating.
Ongoing symptoms
Persistent abdominal pain, diarrhoea or vomiting that hasn't settled.

Totals include your £250 consultation. You pay the consultation first and the rest on the day of your procedure.
OGD / Gastroscopy
A thin, flexible tube with a camera is passed through the mouth to examine the oesophagus, stomach and duodenum. Used to investigate indigestion, nausea and difficulty swallowing.

Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
Examines the lower part of the large bowel. Shorter and quicker than a full colonoscopy, and used to investigate rectal bleeding and changes in bowel habit.

Colonoscopy
A full examination of the large bowel and rectum using a flexible camera. The standard test for detecting polyps, inflammation and early signs of colorectal cancer.

Haemorrhoid Banding
A small band is placed at the base of a haemorrhoid to cut off its blood supply so it shrinks and falls away.

If you would like a general anaesthetic for colonoscopy or haemorrhoid banding, this is an additional £200.
Any biopsies taken during your procedure are billed separately.
