- Numbness, tingling and weakness from pressure on the median nerve at the wrist.
- Trigger finger
- A finger that locks or catches in a bent position.
- Dupuytren's contracture
- Thickening in the palm that gradually curls the fingers inward.

- Fluid-filled lumps along the tendons or joints of the wrist and hand.
- Arthritis
- Pain, stiffness and reduced movement in the hand or wrist.
- Skier's thumb (UCL injury)

- Compression of the ulnar nerve at the elbow, causing numbness in the hand.
